Andy has worked for SIG and Kitsons for 32 years in various roles, including: Storeman, Driver, Area Sales Manager, Industrial Manager, Regional Industrial Manager and National Industrial Manager.

He has gained experience in each role and understands how support at every level is crucial to Kitsons’ service offering.

Andy’s role is looking after the heavy industrial market, including Power Generation & Renewables, Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Petrochemical & Process sectors.

His team work with the major national contractors within these industries and are seen as technical experts within the industry as a whole.

Energy and sustainability are at the forefront of our industry, and so both Andy’s team and Kitsons are committed to supporting and servicing the industry as it evolves and transforms.

Cam began his career with SIG Technical Insulation in 2022 as an internal sales executive for our Tyneside branch. Since then, he has been working alongside the national industrial pricing team and externally supporting customers and sites for high temperature, industrial, marine, HVAC and fire protection requirements.

Prior to this, Cam gained qualifications in the aerospace and aeronautical industry before worked for a HVAC company as a technician nationally and assisting with project management.

Cam was appointed as business development manager in May 2024 for Kitsons North East covering all of our specialist product ranges.

David started working in the construction industry in 2010, working as a sales executive for a mechanical and electrical (M&E) compliance company, moving into M&E contracting in 2012 before working in distributing in 2016 with electrical suppliers.

David then joined SIG and Kitsons in 2019 as an M&E specialist, working with Tier 1 contractors for the north of the UK.

In 2021 he joined the Technical Insulation (TI) team and took on the role of HVAC & Industrial Consultant in the North West and Midlands. His role has now grown to include numerous other branches and supporting the TI team in a wider role.

Denis has been with SIG for over 35 years and has been in his role in HT since 1995, bringing significant experience and knowledge of customers and the market.

Denis will continue his role working for the SIGD branches as well as supporting the wider businesses like Performance Technology Group.

Helene started in the insulation industry in 1991 after a brief spell in the travel industry. Helene began her career at Kitsons Insulation Products at the Heathrow/Colnbrook branch where she stayed for just over 3 years.

From there Helene went to Sheffield Insulations at Uxbridge as internal sales moving up to team leader and moving to our flagship Ruislip branch, where she worked for 8 years in total before leaving to join Isover insulation on the HVAC side of the business for a further 8 years. Helene then moved within the Saint Gobain group to join Jewson selling to their housebuilder customers for a further 3 years.

Helene then left this position to join Velux for 2 years, followed by Protektor UK  for 2 years before returning to SIG, distribution and HVAC.

Jon Strickland has been in the Technical Insulation industry for over 10 years now, first starting out as internal sales at Ainsworth Insulation in 2014, a small independent distributor specialising in HVAC and Technical Insulation, before quickly becoming branch manager.

Jon became part of the SIG family when Ainsworth were acquired by SIG in 2015, staying until January 2020 when an opportunity arose to become Business Unit Manager for TI with Encon Insulation’s Bristol branch. Despite a baptism of fire joining not long before COVID hit, Jon still managed to oversee a steady sales growth in his time with Encon and continued to forge strong relationships with customers and suppliers in the industry.

Jon returned to the SIG fold when he rejoined SIG in his current role of Business Development Manager in November 2022 for the South West and South Wales, looking after a portfolio of customers from varying sectors including HVAC, Marine, Industrial and OEMs and now adding in Fire Protection and M&E into his remit.

I have worked within the Construction Industry for 16 years across multiple sections including residential & commercial, civil engineering and power gen. I have 5 and a half years experience specifically within the passive fire protection sector.

I have a deep technical knowledge and sales strength within the niche arena of passive fire protection.

I work closely with different elements of the supply chain including tier 1 main contractors, specialist installing sub contractors and third party accredited dry liners. The focus is on providing our customers with compliant tested solutions for their current and upcoming projects with site support where required. I regularly influence at project specification level to ensure industry regulatory and legislative standards are met.

At a critical time for the fire protection industry post Grenfell Tower I strive to collaborate with manufacturers, designers, installers and project owners with a shared passion for delivering safe buildings for us to live, work and enjoy leisure time in.

Olly joined Sheffield insulation in 2011 at 17 as an internal sales executive at the intermezzo drive branch at Leeds. Olly worked in all 4 of the branches sectors before choosing Kitsons as home, shortly after, Kitsons was rebranded as SIG Technical insulation. Olly took a year out in 2015 to travel Australia and on returning in 2016 he took up the role of area sales executive for SIG Technical insulation before quickly moving to regional sales manager and then to National sales manager in 2018 until 2020.

Olly left the business for 2 years but returned to the business in 2022 to take up the role of business development manager for HVAC.

In 2023 Olly was promoted to National key Account Director for HVAC, where he looks after all National Tier 1 HVAC contractors and working closely with our branch network and suppliers.
